The Lawford quad, the Prendergast trio, the Gordon twosome and a lonesome Norwood head west to the Nationals in Western Australia today. This weekend most will tackle the WA Championships at Mt Dale (home ground advantage for one Gordon ??). Then the Junior Lawfords and Captain Aislinn will contest the Australian Schools Championships – followed at the weekend by the Australian Championships and Relays. The Gordons will stay on for the Australian MTB-O Champs east of Bunbury – 3 MTB-O events in 3 days. EU wishes them all well! They all will be wearing the new EU running tops – which are now available at Ernie and Maureen Christopher’s shop on Sturt Street, west of the hospitals. The club will fund about half the cost of the shirts – so bring between $15-20 per shirt (depending on the style you ordered).
