Welcome to 2017 and the next two busy weekends.
Sunday March 12 is the Ballarat contribution to the Mel Bus O series with courses set by Sarah Corfe. The event will start and finish at Sparrow Ground in Clayton St. and your support is required even if you are planning on competing. In most cases an hour or so of duty will be all that is needed if we get a good turnout.
Please respond to this email if you can assist in any of the following ways and/or times – Parking and set Up from 8.30am, Registration Assistance from 9am, Start from 9.30am, Results from 10am, Set down from 12.30pm, Control Collection from 1pm.
The following weekend is the Victorian MTBO Champs, Sprint and Middle on Saturday March 18 from Pax Hill and Long on Sunday March 19 at Barkstead. A similar set of tasks need to be done over this weekend, so if your response could indicate which day/s and time/s you are available that would be appreciated. Note that on Saturday March 18, the Sprint event set by Toby Cooper will be starting at 10am, and the Middle set by me will be at 1.30pm, so some jobs will happen in the late afternoon. The Sunday event set by Ken and Anitra Dowling will cover the hours from approximately 8am to 2.30pm.
And to add to the general news the Committee has set dates for the next BUNS Series and organisers are being sought. Please respond if you are able to cover one or more of the dates listed with a preferred area.
