Hi Ian
Could you pass this information on to Ballarat orienteers?
It is a free workshop on April 3rd and can also be streamed live.
I have been to a previous event run by Shawn and it was extremely informative and useful.
This is a workshop worth attending. You will also have opportunity for networking.
Please let me know if there is a better contact for sending this kind of information to.
Thanks Ian!
Kate

Subject: Free PD Apr 3, Ballarat and live streaming – Autism Inclusion in Sport and Recreation
To:

Dear Inclusion and Diversity Friends,

It is time for the Sport Inclusion CoP to get out of the city! We are taking the Sport Inclusion CoP down the road to Ballarat for the evening of Wednesday April 3rd.

The forum coincides with World Autism Awareness/Acceptance Day and will celebrate the role of people with autism, their families and coaches in shaping more inclusive sporting opportunities for everybody.

The forum will celebrate, recognise and share the knowledge of some really great Victorians covering research in well-being, mental health and social skills while also having a focus on strategies and experiences shared by Kellie Tait and Elise Muller.

As always the event will be live streamed with the aim of increase accessibility to information for those who can’t make the evening in person.

Please see the attachment for further details and to register to attend in person or via live streaming.

As always feel free to let me know if you have any questions or comments.

All the best,

Shawn
