Good afternoon BUNnies,

First and foremost we would like to thank everyone for attending with yet another absolutely great event with numbers increasing, which caused an issue of lack of maps.

We would like to apologise for the few that had to share, or use a black and white copy. (We have attached a PDF of the map so everyone has a copy)

Now to the report…..

Weather was a bit warm at around 30 degrees C but felt a lot warmer, with optimal route choice being around 6.5 kms, everyone did really well.

Award for getting bamboozled before the event goes to Gary as we saw him drive by, however he had important cargo of the Fed Uni students. We had a total of 5 students which is awesome!

A total of three competitors smashed the 20 controls, one in 30 minutes. Go David. Hopefully he recovers for the weekend.

Notable performances by a few 2nd timers and some new Ballarat Residents, and some very young competitors. We also had 3 generations of keen orienteers from one family in the same race. Beat that AFL.

Once again thank you to everyone for making these recents events an absolute fantastic series, and we will see everyone at the next BUNS after the weekend of the MTBO in Creswick.

NEXT BUNS: 22nd March 17:45 start Ayrvale Avenue, Lake Gardens.

Good luck to all competitors in this weeks Uni Champs, NOL, WRE and all MSW competitors. (Go VIC)

Kind Regards,

EU
