Hi riders and helpers
What a terrific day in the bush today! Blake, Mark and Ian really set the scene – and got great help from Terry, Warwick, Rod who gave up their day to help run the event and do the major part of control collection so that everything was packed up by 3:15. Mark, Dale, Monica, Karen and Ian all got to ride – and became more familiar with the hills and tracks in the vast pine plantations and eucalyptus edges of the map. Sorry that Ken and Anitra couldn’t be there due Ken’s injuries elbow – you missed a good day in the bush.
It was a good test for all the systems (except the TV’s) that we will be using in Nerrina in 3 weeks time at Little Bendigo PS for the Vic MTBO Championships. Eureka is hoping for a good roll up of riders for these three events (entry via Eventor).
