Hi everyone
Now we’ve suffered long enough without our weekly shot of orienteering due to fires, floods, and family activities, Roch and Blake have set up an event from Len Fraser Reserve – just north of the net ball centre and skatepark – near the corner of Barkly and Eureka Streets. Check Eventor for a map of the arena.
Start: from 6:00 pm – a bit later due to the heat; remember to bring water, a hat, and sunscreen
Courses: Long 5-6 km, Medium 2-3 km, Score – get as many controls in one hour in any order
Newcomers: from 5:30 for getting ready; family groups of 2-3 are most welcome!
Equipment: EU will provide a map, SI stick (start/finish using this), punch card (for recording at controls), compass .. and a friendly smile or two to get you started all for FREE
After you finish: Bring along something to eat and drink as you talk about how you went – and plan for 2026. Bring along your stories of what you’ve been doing since our last event at the Eureka Stockade.
