Just a reminder that tonight at 11.59 pm is the closing time for this Sunday’s Sandon Forest event.
After a pretty ordinary summer. the sprint series seems to have sparked several Eureka members into action. Well done to Aislinn, Warwick, Eleanor, Margaret, Chris, Bill, Roch and Judy for flying the club’s colours over last weekend’s 6-event program.
But it is the bush series in foot and mtbo that we’ve been hanging out for for these past two years! So why not come along on Sunday to the foot-o event just the other side of Campbell Creek – about 40 minutes away!
It will be a great time to say farewell to the Lawfords as they give possession of their Swingler’s Road residence next week to the lucky buyer. And we really have not welcomed back the Norwoods – Chris and Glenda. Great to see Terry Haebich, Bill Borrie and Michael Wyatt making a return to the o-scene.
So dust off your o-shoes, put on your colourful top and o-pants and join us in a celebration of the new season. Might even bake a quick Eureka cake to make a welcome boost after the run/walk on Sunday!
