Hi everyone
it has been several months since we’ve been organising a major event. We need your help on this Sunday at “Garibaldi”.
If you can help out with any of the following tasks, please contact Blake (blakegordon1@bigpond.com)
1 Picking up a single “porta loo” from Bylsma Hire (Sebastopol) on this Saturday afternoon before 5pm (they aren’t open Sunday) and delivering back on Monday am.
2 Parking – limited space on one side of the road(s) near the assembly area – from 9.00am to 10.30 am
3 Registration – checking in pre-registered people (get their phone and car rego written down) 9.15 to 11.00 or 11.00 to noon ; check out hire of SI AIR Sticks; get information to EOD people if maps available
4 Start – check that each person clears and checks SI stick; organise start on C1, C2, C3, C4, C5 and Score courses so that there is a time interval of 2 minutes between people on same course
5 Finish – help Ian with our simple computer timing set-up; hand splits print out to finishing runners
6 Control pick-up – help Roch collect controls
If you are already entered on Eventor. the roster will make time for you to get a run. If you have not entered yet please do before Wednesday night! This new map should not be physically demanding – but will test your navigation, so bring your compass and re-check your pace counting / other method of estimating distance. This is the second of the Autumn Series events – a chance to gain points for Eureka and you might even win a spot prize – 1 prize for each of the 6 courses drawn at 1.00 pm.
