Well the Aussies have won back the Ashes – and Raffa won the US Open Tennis Men’s Open – so the world is ‘right’ again!
Now we need your help to make the biggest Victorian Teachers Games aMAZEing Geelong work well for more than 500 teachers on the first Sunday of the Vic School Holidays – 22nd September from 11.00am to 5.00pm.Please help Sam, Toby and Mark make this event as smooth running as only Eureka can.
If you are going to enter (or already have) the Vic Long Distance event at Linton, I checked with Ted vanGeldermalsen (YV organiser) and he would be happy to give you an early start – so that you can get down to Geelong by late morning (to help the Eurekan efforts at the Teachers Games aMAZEing). Please contact Mark Valentine on mark.valentine@ballaratbasketball.com this week so he can make up an aMAZEing roster.
Gary Buchan has been setting events out at Fed Uni Campus mid-week – but the roll up of Eureka members has been disappointing. Check the Events website for the next couple of events. Also Rob Fell has set an event at Union Jack Reserve this Sunday 15th September. So why don’t you welcome in the warm weather and take this chance to run/walk on a new map between the town of Buninyong and Fed Uni Mt Helen Campus. Groups are very welcome – make a note to get your spring orienteering happening. Instruction for those new to the sport will be available.
